2005 IRISH GO CONGRESS

4th – 6th MARCH 2005

PROGRAMME:

A 3 day congress including 2 Irish titles will entice many Go players to Ireland.
The Irish Rapid takes place on the Friday evening followed by the 16th Irish Open on Saturday and Sunday.

The five-round tournament will be conducted under a McMahon draw, all games will be played with 60 minutes per player and Canadian overtime of 15 stones in five minutes. Japanese rules will be used with a komi of 6.5. All events will be held in The Teachers’ Club, 36 Parnell Square.
