Dear Go players and friends,

as announced earlier this year, the 1st Galway Go Tournament will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2008. The venue is the

Galway Bridge Center, St. Mary’s Road, Galway

which is a 20min walk from Eyre Square, the station and major bus station. A map is at http://www.galwaychess.net/GalBridgeCentre.htm

It will be a 3 round MacMahon style tournament with 40min main time and 15sec per move (1 live) after that (or 25 stones in 5min with traditional clocks). Komi will be 6.5.

The entry fee is 10 Euro and includes Coffee and Biscuites during the day.
There are plenty of places for a quick lunch nearby.
