Rounding off the twelfth season of the Pandanet Go European Team Championship, Ireland defeated Slovenia 3–1 to finish fifth in League C, losing the tiebreak to fourth-placed Norway. The match against Slovenia went down to the wire, with James Hutchinson securing victory by the narrowest of margins, a mere half-point, in the last game of the four to end.
