A few results to report from Wednesday, January 4.

In the first game of the Top 8 final (2005!), Noel (b) beat Steve (w) by resignation.

In the 2006 Qualifier tournament, Claas (b) beat Olivier (w). In an earlier game of the Qualifier, Brian beat Paul Brennan. These results mean that Claas and Brian are qualified for the 2006 Top 8. Noel, Steve, Ka Chun and Ian are already qualified. The remaining two places will be decided between Chris, Bernard, Paul Atling, Aidan and John.
