Ian Davis has been participating in the 1st Korean Prime Minister Cup International Baduk Championship in Seoul, Korea over the past few days. The tournament is run along the lines of the World Amatuer Go Championship in Japan, with one representative from each qualifying country. This is Ian’s first time to represent Ireland in an international go tournament, and we’re all rooting for him back home.
Ian is currently on three wins from six games, with a further two rounds to go. This places him in 50th place, from the 66 competitors. Hopefully, he can keep up the good form.
