Belfast players did well at the popular Isle of Man Go Congress last week. James Hutchinson(1d) claimed a top ten finish in the main tournament with 3/5, and 2nd in the afternoon tournament with 2/3. Paul Kelly(6k) also put in a solid performance with 3/5 and 2/3 in the same events.
Next weekend, James will be representing Ireland at the World Amateur Go Championships in Japan. You can follow his performance here.
Also on 17th and 18th of September, Go will be on display at the Chinese Cultural Centre in Belfast, as part of a festival.
