Korea Points 2003 – 2008
Under the old rules, Korea Points were awarded on the basis of finishing position in the Top 8 and wins at the Irish Open tournament. To differentiate Korea points more from Japan Points, and because wins at the Open could not be held to be of equivalent value, the rules were revised to award Korea points for finishing position in all open tournaments held in Ireland. The full table of points awarded under the old system is shown below:
