We had a record turnout this year at UCC with 28 players coming to a chilly Cork. Once again there was a multinational presence, with Polish, Romanian, Dutch, Vietnamese, Chinese, French and British players in attendance. Willem-Koen Pomstra took first place ahead of the perennially second placed Cao Tong-Yu. The best player below the bar was Przemyslaw Dyszczyk, followed by Karen Pleit. Con Quigley won the best beginner prize.
