The new Top8 Irish Championship has started with the first game result falling in: John (white) beat Olivier yesterday in the Pembroke Pub. Check the updated Irish Championship results table.

The new Top8 tournament is now officially open. Contestants are:

New Challenge Ladder Tournament!
The IGA is pleased to introduce a new permanent ladder-based tournament. The IGA Challenge Ladder Tournament! This tournament is open to IGA members and will start during the month of January 2008. The ladder rules can be found here.
2008 Top8 Qualifiers – 2 Results
Two Top8 Qualifiers games were played in the Pembroke yesterday evening.
John win on time against Aidan, while Olivier beat Michael by just 3.5 points.
