University College Cork (UCC) will host it’s 4th open tournament on December 4th and 5th. More details here.

The Cork Go Club has moved it’s weekly meetings to the Idle Hour pub on Albert Quay in the Cork docklands area. Meetings will occur every Tuesday night at 8:30pm. The venue is also used by the Cork Chess Club for blitz games so everyone can enjoy playing Go, Chess and Chinese Chess.

Details for the UCC Open are now available, see webpage for details. The event will take place on the weekend of the 28/29th November instead of February next year. It will be EGF Class B with 5 rounds.

University College Cork will be holding its second annual Open Go tournament early next year. The 2-day event will begin on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 on the UCC Campus grounds. More details to follow soon…
